Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Palettes

Hi everyone!
My apologies for not blogging recently! I just haven't felt like blogging, but I have vowed to myself that I will get back into blogging. And today I have a post about a new makeup brand out in the UK (which I'm sure you're aware of them already!) - Makeup Revolution!

Makeup Revolution is an affordable brand which sells their stuff in Superdrug, and they also have a website - http://www.makeuprevolutionstore.com/
They are very similar to MUA, and I'm not sure if they are a sister brand, but they do some fantastic makeup! I recently did a haul video on my Youtube channel showing some of the fantastic stuff I got from them - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_kI0soVMyE

Prior to buying the stuff I got, a lot of my subscribers had recommended I try out their makeup. And one of their most raved about products was their eyeshadow palettes! So me being me, I got 3 palettes to try out!

One of the most highly recommended palettes was the Iconic 3 palette (above). I'd heard that it is a spot on dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. They also do an Iconic 1 & 2 palette - which I'm guessing are dupes for the Naked 1 & 2. But seeing as I already own the Naked 1 & 2 palettes - I thought I'd give the Iconic 3 a go before I buy the Naked 3. The pigmentation of the shadows are amazing, and the rose gold colours in the palette are just beautiful. I've become a bit obsessed with this palette - it's perfect for everyday wear. I highly recommend getting this palette if you are wondering what the Naked 3 palette is like.

The next palette I went for was the Romantic Smoked palette. I liked the darker colours in this palette and thought it would be good for the Autumn. This palette has 6 matte shades and 6 shimmery ones. It is quite similar to the Iconic 3 palette, but it has a few more darker colours which I think will be fab for the crease and smoking out the outer part of the eye. Again, the pigmentation is brilliant.

The final palette I went for was a complete gamble as I never usually wear colours like this at all! This is the Acid Brights palette - again, another popular one. Seeing as everyone and their dog has recently been getting the new Urban Decay Electric palette, I thought I'd go for a similar palette for a fraction of the price! This palette isn't a spot on dupe for the Electric palette - in fact it has MORE colours than the Urban Decay one! I don't usually wear colours like this, but I thought it would be a good palette to use for experimenting with different eye looks. And I could use the bright colours to brighten up a boring eye look. For example: if I was to do a coral eye, I could use the bright orange to add a pop of colour. The only downside with this palette is that it is a tad chalky. Especially the brightest colours which are not as pigmented as some of the more wearable ones. But I still think it's a great palette to use for playing around with. I think I could create some new funky looks with it - and it's cheap too!

These eyeshadow palettes are really fantastic. Makeup Revolution do more palettes which I am wanting to try out already. I love that these palettes are only £4 each!! And you get 12 eyeshadows per palette which are fantastically pigmented and each colour is very exciting. If you haven't tried out Makeup Revolution yet, I'd recommend to! They also do other fantastic products - check out my haul on my youtube to see more!
