The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimising Primer Review

Over the past year or so I have become more in need of a primer to apply before my makeup. I always used to be a moisturiser girl, and would use that instead of a primer. But recently I have been getting into primers. I have tried quite a few but my new favourite is from The Body Shop and is the Tea Tree Pore Minimising Primer.

This primer costs £7.50 and you can get a lot of other products from the Tea Tree range. It claims to make pores look smaller, mattify skin and make it feel purer. It also is suitable for blemished skin. I had been using the Rimmel Stay Matte primer before this, and I had enjoyed using that, but I found it didn't do a lot to help the pores around my nose. I find that I get quite oily around my nose area and my makeup wears away quickly throughout the day. This primer seemed to have good reviews on the Body Shop website, so I thought I'g give it a go.

The product comes out a yellowish colour and has obviously a very minty smell which is lovely and refreshing. It feels very cooling on the face and blends in almost feeling a mixture of wet/silky. Once it's on, it feels light and also a little of the product goes a long way. I tend to focus this primer mainly around the nose area, to try and help keep my oiliness at bay. My makeup goes on smoothly and I really do find that it helps to keep the makeup on soo much longer than any primer has done before. My pores don't look quite as prominent and the oiliness is kept at bay, this keeping my makeup on around my nose area throughout the day!
I also think this is a very well priced product - being only £7,50, it's nearly half the price of most primers on the highstreet. I would recommend this to anyone who has similar problems with their makeup as me. It's become my new favourite product!
