My top summertime foundations!

When it comes to wearing foundations in the summertime, it can prove very difficult to find one suitable for the hot weather. There is nothing worse than feeling 'caked' in foundation. It can feel very heavy and is not good for allowing your skin to breathe. I have recently been loving lightweight foundations & BB creams for the summer, so I thought I'd share the one's I have been enjoying to wear!

Bourjois Paris Happy Light Foundation ( Porcelain) :
This foundation is gorgeous for the summertime! It's not to heavy and has a lovely natural glow about it! It has a light-medium coverage and you only need a little to even out your skin tone.

Loreal Paris Nude Magique BB Cream (Light skin tone) :
This BB cream is the best out of all the BB creams I have tried. It comes out white and then changes to match your skin. It can be a little bit orange at times, but I like to use this when I've got a bit of a natural glow. It's great for the summertime as it is super light but also has a good coverage to it as well.

Loreal Paris Nude Magique Eau De Teint (Warm Ivory) :
This lightweight water foundation is a big favourite. It is very runny, almost like water, and feels like you are wearing nothing on your skin. Again, this can be a little orange (I seem to find that will Loreal foundation!), but is also buildable if you extra coverage.

Bareminerals Original (N10 Fairly Light) :
This powder foundation has been the winner for me this summer! This is a new purchase of mine that I've had for over a month now. For the summer heat, this wins by miles for me. It's so lightweight, yet has a light coverage, but enough to even out your skin tone as well as giving you a glow too. I love this powder foundation so much, and I would recommend this one the most out of all the ones I've shown. It's also great if you have dry skin, which I seem to suffer from!

And if you don't have any BB creams or light foundations. here's tip on how to use your current foundation in a more light way.

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer:
This primer is fantastic to mix with foundations. It a very creamy/moisturising primer, so mixes well, and it lightens down any thick heavy foundations. I have been loving this for days when it's a little cooler, but not quite baking hot! You can use it with any foundation and it works super well.

I hope you have found this post useful. If you have any summertime foundations you love, leave me a comment letting me know what they are!
