ELF Smudge Pot Review

Hello!

As many of you will know, I am a big massive fan of ELF makeup! They recently brought out some new products on the UK website, which excited me a lot! There was lots of things I wanted to try so I placed an order and I have also filmed a haul over on my Youtube channel if you want to see what I got!

So one of the main products that I was mostly interested in was the Smudge Pots! I had heard about these $1 smudge pots from lots of US youtuber's, and I was gutted that we couldn't get them here in the UK as they sounded amazing! So no surprise that I was over the moon when they finally made their way here to the UK ELF website!

The Smudge Pots are £2.95 and there are 6 shades to choose from. I believe you can get more shades in the US so hopefully we will get some more colours soon! So these are basically a cream eyeshadow, that you can also use as a gel eyeliner. They are super pigmented and ever so creamy to swatch. I picked up 4 of the shades, and have recently been experimenting with them. I am glad to say that they are so easy to use as well, so perfect for beginners in makeup!

I haven't tried these as gel eyeliner yet, but as a cream eyeshadow these are amazing! They glide on super creamy and you can either blend out the colour with your finger to create a sheer colour, or you can pack on the colour to make it opaque. And for any harsh lines just use a blending eyeshadow brush to buff out the harsh edges and its looks beautiful! These smudge pots have amazing staying power and do not wear off quickly at all. With a simple eye makeup remover they come off with ease, but if you was to try and rub them off, they wouldn't really budge which I think is amazing for such a creamy product!

So here are the colours I got and also the swatches of them:

Gotta Glow

Back to basics

Brownie points

Cruising Chic

Swatces L-R:
Cruising chic, Brownie points, Back to baiscs, Gotta glow.

I really am impressed with these smudge pots! They are so easy to use, so are perfect for beginners or if you want something quick to pop on to jazz up your eyes! And they are so cheap too! I hope they bring out more colours as these are fantasic and I would highly recommend them!
