As many of you will know, the brand 'Too Faced', isn't exactly the cheapest makeup brand out there on the market. As fantastic as their products are, they are still quite pricey, especially their eyeshadow palettes! Having forked out a whopping £40 for their chocolate bar palette a few months back, you can imagine the extreme excitement that I had when I discovered two of their other palettes discounted at such a low price on the TK Maxx website.
Now I usually don't browse on the TK Maxx website that much, as I always find their stuff can be a bit hit and miss. But a week or so back, I had the sudden urge to have a look and see what beauty products they had on it. And that's when I noticed the two eyeshadow palettes in question, and I literally couldn't believe my luck!
The first one I purchased is the ever so popular 'Pretty Rebel' palette, which I have heard quite a few people on youtube talking about. This palette can range from £35-£40, however I got it for an amazing £9.99. Needless to say, it didn't take very long after I purchased this for it to go out of stock! I'm not quite sure how or why it was being sold for so cheap, but I'm not going to complain at all because I have an amazing bargain! The palette is very pretty and has quite a few daring colours in. But all are very pigmented and so easy to blend.
There are still some wearable colours for the daytime in this palette, but most of them are quite bold colours which would be great for a nightime makeup look!
The second I brought was the 'Joy to the girls' palette, which I haven't heard as much about, but is equally as pretty, and has a lot more every day colours in it. This palette can range around £30, but I got mine for £12.99. Again, an amazing deal! This palette has 15 eyeshadows, as well as a full size of the Lashgasm mascara.
This palette has more neutral toned shades, with a couple of brighter colours thrown in. I'm excited to try the mascara as I've never tried a Too Faced mascara before.
Over all I think I have managed to grab two amazing bargains. These palettes will get a lot of use and will be making lots of appearances on my youtube channel! I think TK Maxx is well worth checking for deals such as this, I know I'll be keeping my eyes open for similar deals! The only downside was that my palettes came awfully packaged, and were not protected at all. I was expecting them to turn up smashed, as they had just been put into a bag, and they did not have any bubble wrap or padding to protect them whilst in transit. So that would be something to remember when ordering from them!
