One of the newest makeup brands for me to try products from in the recent months, is Kat Von D makeup. I've always been a massive fan of Kat Von D, I think she is an amazing tattoo artist, and when she brought out a makeup line, I heard only good things about her products. Currently in the UK, her makeup line is not available, so the best place to get products from was Sephora. BUT...last month the exciting news was revealed that her makeup line is FINALLY coming to the UK! It will be available online at Debenhams this September!!
So to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Kat Von D makeup, I though I'd share a little review of one of the products I have already tried from her makeup line...the liquid lipsticks!
The Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks were one of the products from the makeup line that I most wanted to try out. I've heard amazing things about them, and the colour range is gorgeous and very unique. I'm not currently sure what the price of these will be when they come out in the UK, as I had ordered mine directly from Sephora a while ago.
There are currently 28 shades in the collection, and I have 3. There is a shade to suit everyone in the collection, with nude colours, to reds, and purples.
The packaging of the liquid lipstick is very sleek and simple. I like that you can see the colour of the product through the tube, and the tube itself is very slim, so it will be great to take travelling. The product has a doe foot applicator, which I love as I feel a doe foot applicator always works best with liquid lipstick.
The formula of the product is beautiful. It almost has a very thin feeling to it, and when applied to the lips, you can barely even tell you have a liquid lipstick on!
Shades swatched: Nosferatu, Bow n Arrow, Santa Sangre.
The pigmentation of these liquid lipsticks are out of this world. After one swipe, you have full on intense colour, with no streaks! And of course, once applied they do dry to a completely matte finish. These liquid lipsticks do wear really well too, and feel very lightweight on the lips. They are definitely one of the best liquid lipsticks that I've tried so far!
I feel like the colour range available is very unique, and definitely differs to the colours that a lot of brands do. I currently have 3 shades, as shown swatched in the picture above.
The first shade swatched is Nosferatu, which is a deep blood red colour. Then there is Bow n Arrow, which is a very popular shade. It is a really wearable cool toned nude brown. Then finally I have Santa Sangre, which is a bright orange toned red.
I definitely recommend these liquid lipsticks from Kat Von D. I can't wait to add more colours to my collection, as well as try more products from the brand. I feel like Kat Von D makeup will soon become one of my favourite makeup brands, and I already have a list of products I want to get as soon as it's available from Debenhams!
