KIKO Water Eyeshadows

I recently decided I wanted to delve more into the world of the brand KIKO, which is becoming more & more popular in the beauty world. Having only ever tried a couple of their products, I decided I wanted to give a few more bits a go. Plus having 2 KIKO stores near me, is always very tempting!!

So I picked up a few eyeshadows, 2 of these being their Water Eyeshadows.

The first shade I got is '209' and its a gorgeous olive green colour with gold running through it. I couldn't leave this one behind, I fell in love with it straight away! Then I also got this amazing mermaid turquoise colour in the shade '212'. I remember seeing Velvetgh0st use this in a tutorial once, and was obsessed with it since then. The packaging of these shadows  are beautiful. They come in their own little compact with a mirror, and I love the shape of the actual powder (reminds me of fingerprints!).

When you swatch these shadows, they are very pigmented and smooth to apply. They have a gorgeous shimmery metallic finish to them. So you can apply the shadows as normal, or you can make them insanely pigmented. Lightly wet your eyeshadow brush, then get a little bit of the eyeshadow on the brush (definitely do a little, as a tiny bit goes a long way!). Then just apply it, and you will be shocked. These shadows work like magic by just using a bit of water on the brush. The intensity and pigmentation of the shadows are doubled, and you will fall in love.

These eyeshadows are insane. They are so pigmented and amazing quality too. I would highly recommend them and costing £8.90 each, they aren't going to break the bank. KIKO do a good selection of different colours. I am definitely picking some more of these up, especially the more neutral colours.

I am in love.

  1. I absolutely adore this shimmery blue colour... but i am always afraid of wearing colours like in your post as i have very brown eyes. I tend to stick with boring golds and browns but would love to venture into the world of colour! You have inspired me to experiment... thanks and keep up the blog :D xxxxxxxxxx

    1. I usually just stick to them colours too as I have dark brown eyes, and I find some colours look a bit over the top on me. But I always try to find some kind of way to wear different colours :)
      and thank you!! xxx
