Sleek Nautical Collection

I have a new limited edition collection of products that I brought recently from the brand Sleek. This collection is the Nautical Collection, which I was immediately attracted to as I love anything with a nautical, mermaid, sailor style theme. Not to mention the colours of all the products looked amazing!

The collection is currently priced at £19.99, even though when I got it, it was £22.99 - which is annoying for me! The only downside to this collection is that it is a limited edition collection, so will only be available while stocks last. So if you want it, go buy it now! Also it is a website exclusive, so I believe you can only buy this from the Sleek website. I'll leave a link to this collection down at the bottom of this post!

You can buy all of the items in this collection separately too, so if you only want one or two products, you don't have to buy the whole collection to get them. So in the collection you get an eyeshadow palette, a blush by 3 palette, and a lipstick. All of which are beautiful products. I have also done a makeup look on my YouTube channel using all the items in this collection, so if you want to see that, that will also be linked at the end of this post.

The eyeshadow palette in this collection is called 'Calm before the storm' and costs £7.99. It has some typical nautical themed colours in it, such as the greens and blues, but it also has some everyday neutral colours too which are very pretty. The eye shadows are pigmented (some of the darker ones I wish could of been a bit more pigmented) and they are a little powdery. But they don't seem to have any fall down which is good.

The blush by 3 palette is called 'Santa Marina' and costs £10. This palette has 3 pretty colours in, which I'm not sure if you can buy these blushers separate, or if they are exclusive to the collection. My favourite one of the bright orange coral, which is perfect for summer!

Finally in this collection, you get a lipstick called 'Reddy to sail', and it is £4.99. This is a gorgeous orange toned red, which I think is perfect for summer. It is a semi matte finish, and isn't drying at all. It goes perfectly with the lip liner in 'rouge' from the Eau La La liners (in the swatches above, it is the one at the bottom).

I really like the products in this collection and love the different looks you can create with it. I don't usually buy limited edition collections, but on this occasion I am really glad I did.
I would definitely recommend this, and go get it while it's in stock!

ELF Studio Blushers | Review and swatches

Hello all!
Many of you may know that I do have a very big addiction to elf makeup! I always buy stuff from them and just can't resist especially when they have 50% off for example! So I was looking through all my elf products and I thought I would do a review of the studio Blushers. I always seem to buy stuff from elf but I never really do reviews! I am a big fan of these Blushers and currently own 4, although I plan to get more! They have a fantastic and exciting colour range and at £3.75 each they are easily affordable! These Blushers would not suit everyone though as they are not extremely pigmented. I am pale skinned and I find these blushes are quite light - which is perfect for me of course but probably wouldn't show up on more tanned skin. They are build able and after a couple of layers you can get a could amount of colour but I would say these blushes are more suited to the fairer skin tones!

The packaging is very sleek and looks good. They are easy to carry around in your handbag and even have a little mirror. You get a good amount of product and the colours come in a shimmer finish and also a matte finish. Overall I think these blushes are great but like I said I don't think they would suit all skin types. They are however extremely good value for money and come in some gorgeous colours!

My Current Favourite Makeup Products

Hi all,
I had been recently thinking about all of the great new products that I have discovered recently and using religiously. So I thought I would do a 'favourites theme' on my next few blog posts, showing you my favourites makeup items, skincare, hair care, nail polishes, etc. I thought I would start off today with my current favourite makeup items, as I do love my makeup! These products are just what I have been reaching to use everyday and loving the most!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC20:
I have been loving this foundation so sooooo much since I first purchased it a few months ago. I usually was a drugstore foundation girl, but had got a bit fed up with the same old foundations and wanted something a little more pricier and hopefully better quality! And it is no doubt that MAC products are brilliant quality and this foundation is a beauty! The coverage is brilliant and it matches my skintone perfectly! I find you need to hardly use any product at all as a little goes a long way, and it also stay on all day which means no touch ups, yay!! I was originally only going to use this on special occasions, but it's become one of my most used foundations as I never have any problems with it looking dry, patchy or oily. It just really is perfect, and despite the high price, I would still re-purchase it 100%!!

Ardell Fabulous Lashes in 'Tokyo':
I literally love these lashes so much! They are so natural looking and blend in with your natural lashes perfectly. They do look like they would look fake and in general a bit over the top, but when I fist put these on, they looked gorgeous! They are just a little bit longer than my natural lashes so they don't look fake at all, and they brighten up your eyes, making them look big! These are perfect for night's out when you want a casual but glam look, and even better is the fact you can get these for 99p (YES 99P!!!!) from cosmetics fairy! www.cosmeticsfairy.co.uk

Accessorize Baked Blusher in 'Scandal':
I am a big fan of baked blushers and I love the fact they are shimmery. One of my all time favourites is this one by Accessorize. I have had it for about a year now and it's still pretty much full! You get 8g of products for £4.99, and this blusher is really pigmented and has a gorgeous glow.I love the colour of the products - a lovely warm toned pink with a gorgeous shimmer running through it. It gives your cheeks a natural glow as well as a lovely burst of colour.

Benefit Powder Time Lover:
This little set of powders by Benefit is a little box of luxery. You get two blushers (Dandelion and Coralista) and you also get the Dallas bronzer. I have been loving the bronzer in the little box, it gives me such an amazing glow and warmth to my skin! It blends in super nice into my skin and looks really natural. I have also been loving the coralista blusher for when I'm wearing fake tan (as a darker blush), it looks really pretty! As for the Dandelion blush, as you can see I haven't used that as much but it's really nice for natural makeup days!

Emite Eyelash Curlers:
I got these curlers from a Glossybox and absolutely love them! They are super sturdy and feel very comfortable to use. They make my lashes look longer and they stay like that the majority of the day. Over the years I have tried various curlers but none have worked as well as these!

Urban Decay Naked Flushed:
I have been loving my flushed palette! This little palette from the naked range is a blusher, highlighter and bronzer combo and is only £20! I have been using the highlighter every single day as it gives my cheek bones a gorgeous natural glow and blends in so easily. The bronzer is also lovely and perfect for day to day wear. I have done a full review on this product so if you want to read that then go check out my previous blog posts!!

Maybelline Rocket Mascara:
My holy grail mascara is the loreal false lash flutter, but I have found myself reaching for the rocket mascara alot more recently! I find this mascara so easy to use and because the brush is so huge, it fully coats your lashes and makes them visibly longer! The only downside would be that it's not waterproof, so you often get the product under your bottom eyelashes. But thats no problem as next time I will just get the waterproof one! I think this is the best Maybelline mascara ever out of them all! 100%!!

Bourjois Color Boost in 'Peach On The Beach':
Again this is another product which I have done a full review on so go check that blog post out for more info! But I am in love with this chubby stick! The finish is glossy but also the product stays on for at least 4 hours! The pigmetation is amazing the colour is a gorgeous pinky peach. This is such a flattering product and I have found myself reaching for it daily!

So keep an eye out for more favourite posts over the next few days!
What are your favourites? xx

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette

Hi all,
I recently got my hands on the newest Urban Decay palette in the Naked line, and that is the Flushed palette which is a blusher, bronzer and highlighter combo. So not the usual eyeshadow line! I got mine for £20 from beautybay.com - my fave website for branded makeup! I was very excited to receive this and try it out as its an item I could use daily, whereas the naked eyeshadow palettes I don't use as often as I rarely wear eyeshadow!

This reminds me of the Sleek Contour kit which is so similar but around £10 cheaper. However I was quite surprised with the Naked kit as it was a lot lighter than I expected! Me being pale skinned, I usually find most bronzers are super dark on me and I have to use them lightly - which is what I was kind of expecting from this kit. But the bronzer is actually rather light - which is no problem for me at all seeing as it matches my skin tone perfectly! The swatch in the picture above is 3 to 4 layers of the bronzer which I think is rather a lot to achieve that kind of colour. However, it does show that the product is buildable to achieve a darker colour. The highlighter is GORGEOUS and compliments my skin so well. You only need to use a small amount of the highlighter and it looks really pretty. The blusher is a really nice colour which I think would suit a lot of skin tones. The feel of all of the powders is really smooth and so easy to work on the skin.
Over all I am very happy with this palette and I have been using the bronzer and highlighter everyday! I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try a palette like this, as it's not too expensive, yet it's brilliant quality!

NYX Blushers

Hi everyone!

Now if there is one makeup item that I LOVE and could buy millions of, it's blushers. I love them! So today I've got two blushers by NYX to show you, and I am in love with them!

At £5.50 each, they are not too expensive, but they are so flattering to my skin tone that I just had to grace their presence on this blog post! Mine are in the shades Peach and Rose Garden, which are lighter shades (something you can wear day to day). Unfortunatly my camera wouldn't pick up swatches of these gorgeous colours, but if you go check out the NYX website, you can see these colours as well as others available! - http://www.nyxcosmeticsstore.co.uk/acatalog/PB_-_Powder_Blush.html

The pigmentation on these blushers are brilliant and they glide on so well, giving an elegant look for day to day wear. Not only do they look great but they are affordable and I am defiantly buying some more. These are by far the best blushers I have EVER used, so I recommend to go check them out.

Only a short post today, but follow me to see more :) xx

ELF Mineral Lipstick and Cream Blusher Review!

So, I'm back! Getting quite eager to blog again!
So I just got a cheeky little ELF order through the post ( I had to make an order with their sale they had on! ), and I've got a couple of new favorite products that I would like to share!

Firstly is the cream blusher, which I had been umm-ing and ahh-ing over whether to buy or not. Usually it's quite pricey at £6-ish, but it was in the sale for £3.50 which is a total bargain. I got mine in the shade 'Vixen' which is a lovely red/pink shade. I am in love with this blusher and I totally recommend to go buy this while its in the sale still! It's so pigmented and it's really blend-able. It's not what I would call creamy, it's almost like a mousse, and even in my mad mind it also reminds me of play-doh a bit (but softer). But it really is a great product and I'm glad I purchased it. I'm so fond of it that on my next ELF purchase I'm going to buy another one in a different shade. And whats even better is the fact you don't have to use much product to get good results. So it will last a long time too!

Next is one of the mineral lipsticks. This wasn't in the sale but was £5, and I got it in the shade 'Cheerful Cherry'. This is such a gorgeous lipstick and totally worth it's money. It goes on really smoothly, unlike some of the basic range of ELF lipsticks which are quite creamy. The colour is really pigmented and almost like a blood red with a shimmer to it. I really can see myself wearing this lipstick on many occasions. I usually find red lipstick a bit OTT on me when I wear it casually, but this one is so gorgeous, I can see myself wearing it casually and to special occasions.

Let me know what you think of these products if you've tried them! ELF's sale is still currently running, so go check that out before it ends!

MUA Makeup Academy!

Hello!
I've been shopping today and have brought a few goodies which I would like to share with you, and that is some products from the MUA range in Superdrug. Look out for these products in my haul video that will be up on my YouTube channel shortly.

Now I have to admit, I did buy this eyeshadow palette a little while ago, but I thought I'd add it to the collection as it was my first MUA product that I brought and I love it!! So this is the 'Glitter Ball' eyeshadow palette from the professional range, and I got this when the range first came out. I think it was around £3-£4, but it totally worth the price as the colours are fab! This is the best eyeshadow palette I've ever had, and all the colours are so intense and beautiful that I rarely ever use any other eyeshadow! This is the perfect product to start you off on the MUA range, and I have no complaints about this at all. LOVE IT!

This nail polish I got today, and is the 'Nail Quake Crackle Glitter' and is in the shade 'Pink'. This was £2.99 which I think is a very cheap price for a crackle nail polish. I love the colour and the polish itself dries very quickly. It gives a good crackle effect and is what you would expect for the price that it is. They do this is some other funky colours too, one of which I'm very tempted to buy next, and thats a glittery blue. But overall, love this polish and would recommend!

One thing that I love about the MUA products is their £1 range! And these 3 nail polishes I got from them. They are slightly smaller than most nail polish pots, but you can't complain seeing as they are only £1! I got them in the shades 4 (orange one), 10 (creamy silver one), and 13 (green one). I've tried the orange one so far and I was expecting the colour to not be great seeing as they were only cheap, but I am very impressed! With 2 coats you have a nice flawless colour application, and it dries fairly quickly too! If the other two colours are as good as the orange one, then I will be a very happy bunny!! They also do lots of other colours so are worth a look!

The final product I got was this blusher in shade 2. This was also in the £1 range which I am very pleased with because the colour is gorgeous and it's a decent size too! Again they do this in other shades, but I tried this as soon as I got home and am in love! One of the best blushers I have ever used. Such a good colour that lasts and brightens up your face, 100% recommend!

Now that I've discovered the MUA range I will be paying Superdrug plenty of visits, especially to the £1 range! They also do lovely lip glosses and lip sticks in the £1 range too! Check out the superdrug websiteto see for yourself these brilliant products!
